ISI provides various applications that have been designed to automate production in professional photo labs. These products enable front end applications to drive print production through various back end imaging solutions.
This product operates from within the DP2 application environment and runs in the background, processing orders that have been designated for printing on any of the Fuji digital printers that support direct printing using the FCIM hot folder. It is simple to configure, requiring only a few minutes to install and add DP2 Printer queue records with preference settings.
Since the product runs from within the DP2 interface, it requires no additional steps in the workflow. The operator simply submits orders for printing as they normally do, and if the work is directed to a Printer Queue for the FCIM Hot Folder, when the Order has completed rendering to disk, the "DP2 to FCIM" script will be executed and the required print instruction files are created and moved into the FCIM Hot Folder directory which initiates printing on the Fuji printer.

This product operates as a hot folder application that watches a directory for ImageMatch export files that are created by selecting the DP2 Export option from within the PhotoLynx "ImageMatch" software. This export file was developed by PhotoLynx to allow for importing orders into DP2. However, the process of doing so without our product is very labor intensive and requires extensive knowledge of the steps involved to do it properly.
"ImageMatch to DP2" takes the labor out of the process and makes it a one step process. Simply drop the export file in the directory designated in preferences as the Hot Folder, and "ImageMatch to DP2" does the rest.
All DP2 records are created automatically, including Orders, Order Items, Images, and SubjectInfo. If any cropping or color corrections have been applied in ImageMatch, those are applied to the Order Items as well. Plus, you have the ability to create custom SubjectInfo table definitions on the fly and manage different table configurations for different customer needs.

New add-on modules are available to increase the functionality of the ImageMatch to DP2 application.
The "PerformerPro to DP2" application provides integration between "PerformerPro Presentation" studio ordering software and Kodak DP2 production software.
The photo lab has the ability to export DP2 products so that they can be presented in the Performer "Presentation" software in a WYSIWYG ordering interface, allowing the photographer to drag images into templates and enter text to be included on the product design. The orders are then loaded into DP2 when received by the photo lab. The DP2 records are created automatically by the application that runs as a hot folder, creating Customer, Order, Order Items, Images, and SubjectInfo records. This allows the photo lab to make color corrections or adjustments to the images before outputting the Order Items through DP2's render engine.
The newest feature added is the ability for photographers to create their own product templates in Presentation software that will then be printed in DP2.

This product operates from within the DP2 application environment and runs in the background, processing orders that have been designated for printing on one of the supported Noritsu digital printers ( any printer supported by Noritsu Hot Folder ). It is simple to configure, requiring less than ten minutes to install and add DP2 Printer queue records with preference settings.
Since the product runs from within the DP2 interface, it requires no additional steps in the workflow. The operator simply submits orders for printing as they normally do, and if the work is directed to a Printer Queue for the Noritsu Hot Folder, when the Order has completed rendering to disk, the "DP2 to Noritsu Hot Folder" script will be executed and the required files are created and moved into the required Noritsu Hot Folder directory structure along with the rendered order item images.
Two versions of the product are available. The 103 version is for Noritsu printers with support for NetOrder v103 such as the QSS 28, 29, and 30 series printers. The 105 version is for newer printers with support for NetOrder v105 such as the QSS 31and 32 series, as well as the Roll to Roll printers.

"PicPro to Noritsu Hot Folder" makes it possible to print from the Fuji "PicPro" software to various Noritsu digital printers.
This product operates as a hot folder application that monitors a directory for Order Item images that have been rendered to disk by the Fuji "PicPro" software, and submits those order items for printing to any supported Noritsu printers via the "Noritsu Hot Folder".

"Generic HF to Noritsu Hot Folder" makes it possible for any software that can render order item images to disk, to be able to print them on various Noritsu digital printers.
This product operates as a hot folder application that monitors a directory for Order Item images that have been rendered to disk by imaging software, and submits those order items for printing to any supported Noritsu printers via the "Noritsu Hot Folder". Preference settings allow the user to change paper surface and up to two lines of back printing.
"Noritsu Printer Control" is a complete production control application for high volume labs running multiple Noritsu printers that are being fed by multiple DP2 render workstations.
This product was recently developed to provide automatic printer load balancing, scheduling, tracking, and reporting control from any computer workstation in the lab. Labs with multiple Noritsu printers needed a better way to manage the amount of work sitting on the printer at any given time so that batch size could be controlled to allow for rush order insertion, reprints, etc.
Each printer is assigned preferences by the lab that determine what sizes and surfaces can be accepted by the printer, as well as maximum batch size and maximum images per order. As DP2 renders orders to disk, our "DP2 to NHF" application submits the work to order queues for the "NPC" application. "NPC" populates database records with all information related to the Order, Order Items, Paper Sizes, Printing Priority , etc. The user can adjust the Priority if desired and submit the order or parts of the order to a specific printer, or simply allow the work to be submitted to first available printer based on preferences.
"NPC" will then break up the order into smaller batches based on the Load Balancing preferences established for each printer in order to provide the fine tuning of workflow and to maximize production.
Extensive Reporting tools and wizards are provided to allow the user to create and print custom reports, labels, and charts. Paper usage history is recorded at all levels, Order, Order Item, Batch as well as Batch History to keep track of reprints and paper waste.
"ProLab Data Systems" is designed to provide central data management, order entry, job scheduling and tracking, and digital print production management in the pro lab work flow.
"PLDS" has numerous modules that provide different integration solutions in a mixed equipment and software vendor production environment. "PLDS" works as an interpreter allowing applications from the various manufacturers to communicate with competing vendor equipment and applications, so that the pro lab is able to have flexibility and choice when deciding what equipment and software they prefer to use.
For example: "PLDS" has the capability of accepting orders created by Fuji "StudioMaster" and then creating the orders in Kodak "DP2" for printing on any output device supported by DP2.
Integration modules are available for Bremson VAX and NT Production and Business systems, Fuji "PicPro", Fuji "StudioMaster", Kodak "ProShots", Kodak "DP2", PhotoLynx "ImageMatch", ICR/OCR Document scanning, and many more.
